One of my favorite places to go in Oklahoma is the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Over the years my family and I have spent many days there hiking and enjoying the wildlife. Such a great place!

It’s also been where my daughter and I have spent some Father/Daughter time together. If you have children, be sure you spend time with them!

The outdoor easter drama is an event you need to see. My daughter played the part of an angel for two seasons when she was young.

The Visitor’s Center is really nice. There’s usually a short movie playing about the refuge. There’s also a gift shop and of course clean restrooms. 🙂

Just north of the refuge is Meer’s Burgers. You need to go at least once.
